| So I’ve gotten the Christmas survey from all of my friends and relatives (all of whom should be reading this blog) so, rather than sending it around in emails I decided to share it here.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? usually wrapping paper 2. Real tree or Artificial? I prefer real but at times have had an artificial tree as i will this year to save a tree from death. (if you want a pine smell, light a candle) 3. When do you put up the tree? Sunday before Christmas (my parents rule not mine) 4. When do you take the tree down? epiphany
5. Do you like eggnog? Not anymore but did as a baby
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Ruby red slippers 7. Hardest person to buy for? Mother
8. Easiest person to buy for? Father, mom does most of the hard work 9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Well the gift was lovely but last year my best friends mom sent over my family’s gifts and there was a baby mouse that got into the bag!
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? The Muppets’ Christmas Carol, Michael Cain deserves an Oscar 4 it.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? whenever i have money
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Not even once
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Stuffed mushrooms 16. Lights on the tree? Yes…
17. Favorite Christmas song? Mary did you know by Clay Aiken 18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? home
19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer’s? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner & Blitzen, and, of course Rudolph
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We’ve had both 21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? One eve and the rest morning (it’s the compromise of having parents raised with two different traditions)
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Shopping with all those CRAZY people.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? I have one that was given to me the first Christmas after I was born
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I like it all!
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? peace of mind, and maybe a job

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? gift bags, if you saw my sad attempts at wrapping gifts you’d understand why.
2. Real tree or Artificial? Toss-up, I’ve done both before. The artificial’s are a lot less work.

4. When do you take the tree down? Ha mid-january, if we’re motivated
5. Do you like eggnog? Love it. Especially with rum.

7. Hardest person to buy for? Sister, although it’s gotten easier lately.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Mother, easily. Every year I get her a silver reign deer. They’re getting harder to find, but I may or may not have bought a couple extras just in case -winks-

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Finding out santa was fake…
12. Favorite Christmas Movie? I believe my family would shoot my eyes out if I didn’t say A Christmas Story.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No, but the thought has crossed my mind.
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Turducken… omfg I love it

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? every other year we go to Minnesota to stay with the extended family.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? We always open one on Christmas Eve and the rest in the morning. Heh, one year I opened socks on christmas eve. Bad call on my part lol!
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? Christmas jingles blared out of bad speakers. It’s like nails on a chalkboard!
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Umm I really like those lifesavers christmas books, you know the ones that look like a book but really are just candy and an ornament? Yeah I love those things.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? TURDUCKEN! (wasn’t this already on here?)
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? all I want for christmas is the end of the federal reserve’s monopoly on the american citizens…
but I’ll probably settle for some good Bowl games.
I’m not a big fan of eggnog. My dad got some with all of this liquor stuff in it one year and it was gross.
I didn’t do Christmas cards last year but I’m going to try to mail them this year.
